The all-French OEX lineup has been picked up by the organization known as “Quadrant”, which is owned by British F1 driver Lando Norris.

OEX is Europe's second-best Halo team, having finished second to Cartel in both European Open Series and the Raleigh Major Qualifier. With tons of international experience and slaying ability, this roster shouldn’t be chalked up as a free win for any team.

Together, Norwen "SLG" Le Galloudec and Sonny "Fragxr" Marchaland have been a force in European Halo since 2016. They’ve attended two Halo World Championships as teammates and they’re back with their eyes set on a third HWC appearance at the end of this HCS season.

Quadrant is owned by the McLaren F1 driver of Lando Norris, who finished the 2021 F1 season in sixth place. After starting to stream F1 2020 on Twitch during last year’s lockdown, Norris launched his venture into esports in November of last year and has since expressed lofty ambitions for the Quadrant brand.

While Quadrant has primarily stuck with streamers in the racing-sim games genre, it picked up a CoD Warzone player earlier this year and now dives deeper into FPS titles with the signing of this Halo roster.

Norris stated the following regarding the signing:

One of my main goals for Quadrant since I launched it last year has been to see our team compete on the biggest esports stages against some of the biggest names in the industry. What we announced today brings us to that point.

I’ve loved watching Halo since it launched last month and I made sure we moved quickly to sign one of Europe's most talented rosters to our team. I’ve set the goals high and the team is just as passionate as I am, so let’s go get our first win!

The Quadrant Halo roster is thus:

  • Norwen "SLG" Le Galloudec
  • Sonny "Fragxr" Marchaland
  • Sébastien "TchiK" Darriet
  • Paul "Nurix" Villemont
