Oxygen Esports officially signs Cherished

After going nearly a month without an official fourth player, Cherished has been signed to Oxygen Esports and will compete with the team going forward. Prior to the roster change, Oxygen Halo had a mixed showing at the Anaheim LAN, they went winless in Pool Play at the event, only taking a single map from Esports Arena Red during the three pool series they played, eventually finishing in 9th place. A week later they would also finish in 9th place, but this time during an Open Series tournament with the vast majority of pro teams absent, they would again lose to Esports Arena Red and three days later on February 23rd, Swish was released from the roster.

Cherished's first appearance with Oxygen Esports was on March 2nd at the first Esports Arena Series E Pro Night, they matched up against XSET in the Finals and the series went five games before they eventually got steaked in a series-deciding Bazaar Slayer. Oxygen Esport's main adversary has been Fnatic so far this HCS season, Fnatic, then known as "Team WaR" eliminated Oxygen Esports at Raleigh, and Oxygen Esports has gone winless in their past three series versus Fnatic with a 3-7 map count. If Oxygen Esports wants to place in the Top 8 at the Kansas City Major and beyond they'll have to overcome Fnatic, and perhaps with some time and hard work this new look Oxygen Esports team can get it done.
