The HCS or the Halo Championship Series is Microsoft's official Halo esport league where the best Halo players from around the world compete.

More than $7,000,00 in prize money has been awarded since the HCS was founded in 2014 and the league has sanctioned Halo Infinite, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo: Reach, Halo 3, and even Halo: Combat Evolved tournaments.

HCS Competition takes place both online and at in-person LAN tournaments that are primarily held in the United States, and occasionally in Europe, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand.
